Mekoos offers a fabulous hunting territory for small game enthusiasts, as there are more than 500 kilometres of gravel roads and trails. During your walks in the woods, you will find a large number of ruffed grouse (partridge), spruce grouse and snowshoe hares.

The many bodies of water on our territory also promote seeing migratory birds such as woodcocks, Canada geese and many species of ducks.
